Avant recognized as the World Business Leader by BIZZ 2012

Avant, the Dubai-based business conglomerate, was honored with the World Business Leader Award by The Bizz 2012, the prestigious global business awards by World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB). Avant, the parent company with its businesses spread across various sectors, was felicitated at the recently held award ceremony in Doha, Qatar with various awards, marking its excellence and achievements in each of its diverse businesses.





Avant Flooring Wins Sustainability Award in Germany

Avant has won the coveted global ‘Green Era Award’ in recognition of its outstanding sustainable practices and environmental achievements.
The award, constituted by French-based ‘Otherways Management and Consulting Association’, was conferred to Avant Holding officials at the Green Era Award Ceremony and the Green Economy Forum held in Berlin, Germany on March 23, 2015.

Avant signs deal with Al Tanmyah Services

Avant announced this week that it has chosen Al Tanmyah Services, a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank specialising in facilities management and staffing services, to provide support staff to the group and its subsidiaries across the UAE. Antonio Varghese, CEO and Chairman of Avant and Ali Al Sayegh, CEO of Al Tanmyah Services, signed the agreement at their Head Office in Dubai.

Emirates Energy Star Launch 2011

Etisalat and Pacific Controls announced their partnership aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of the UAE by up to 30%. The event, held under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, rolled out at the prestigious Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Green Dubai World Forum 2008

The Green Dubai World Forum 2008 united key decision makers from around the world at The Atlantis Hotel, Dubai to discuss sustainability and environmental problems, and to find possible solutions. The two-day forum held under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was attended by Mr. F.W. Opening Ceremony of Pacific Controls 2007

When Pacific Controls launched its Dubai headquarters it became the first LEED Platinum rated green building in the Middle East and only the sixteenth of its kind in the world. The building was inaugurated by H.E. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates and Executive Chairman of Dubai Holding. The event was attended by senior officials and dignitaries and confirmed Pacific Controls’ commitment to sustainable development.
